Veteran Certification Services
Welcome to University of Northern Colorado's Veteran Certification Office. Our goal is to serve as a one-stop source for securing, interpreting and exercising your VA Education Benefits, including the GI Bill®. Our office certifies enrollment to the VA for all VA Education benefits chapters. Students using military Tuition Assistance should contact the Bursars.
How to Use VA Education benefits (start here)
You are welcome to submit your Veteran’s Certification Request for open and past registrations. We will accept them as pending for up to a month prior to enrolling in your classes.
How to Complete the VCR
School Certifying Officials (SCOs) do not determine eligibility for benefits or approved education majors/programs; School Certifying Officials only report certifiable enrollment information to the VA. Please see your Certificate of Eligibility (COE) for benefits information, or you can check your remaining benefits with the VA at 1-888-442-4551 or online at eBenefits.
Section 1018 Shopping Sheet (last updated 7-19-2021) The Johnny Isakson and David P.
